Welcome to the Brock Bowling Club website.
William Denny Shield Winners 2009
Situated in the heart of Dumbarton the club is located on the north side of Crosslet Road and lies between two schools, Dumbarton Academy and St Patricks Primary. The original clubhouse was located between the bowling green and tennis courts, which have been closed for many years, the ground having been required by the local Education Authority. A new clubhouse was constructed on the opposite side of the green in 1966 and has been extended, first in 1978 and more recently in 1993. It now provides a games room, main hall, bowls, committee rooms and the services of excellent facilities.

Well done to all concerned over the league program.
a 6-2 win over the current Salver holders and League 1 winners means the Brock will be the first name on the wilkie and rider quaich.
it also means we will be the first club to have 2 teams in the top division |

The Brock's friendly with Port Seton took place today. It was a beautiful day and some beuatiful bowls were played. Unfortunately not many of them were played by Brock players! It was a good day for a couple of them who were drafted into the Port Seton team to make up the numbers. We won't name them for fear of reprisals the next time they cross the picket line.... |

The Renton friendly took place at the Brock yesterday. A full compliment of 6 rinks each enjoyed a fine day, so much so that the competition was extended from 13 ends to 15 ends on the day (much to the relief of Jim Daly!). The trophy was returned to its rightful home after spending two years out in the Renton. Well done boys! |

The over 45s unders 45s took place at the brock yesterday. The under45s won by 5 shots, although there was a stewards enquiry when it was noted that George Grace was found to be playing for the under 45s to make it an even number! |
