Welcome to the Brock Bowling Club website.
William Denny Shield Winners 2009
Situated in the heart of Dumbarton the club is located on the north side of Crosslet Road and lies between two schools, Dumbarton Academy and St Patricks Primary. The original clubhouse was located between the bowling green and tennis courts, which have been closed for many years, the ground having been required by the local Education Authority. A new clubhouse was constructed on the opposite side of the green in 1966 and has been extended, first in 1978 and more recently in 1993. It now provides a games room, main hall, bowls, committee rooms and the services of excellent facilities.
Use the blog to find out what's been happening or updated on the website recently. Also, visit our gallery, for all the pics of recent (and not so recent) events.
We now have a working forum, there are boards on bowls, poker, darts and dominos, even crib!. Once you register we will keep you updated with the latest on the site and the club.
We also have an UNofficial site on Bebo. Be warned though, any opinions expressed are not neccesarily that of the bowling club or it's members! Click here for more info

It's that time of year again and on Saturday the Brock held it's opening day. The event was very well attended as always and a great day was had by all. The weather held up and a grand total of 9 ends were played.
5 new members were invited into the club and Tommy Hughes plus Peter Bush were both inducted as Honorary Vice Presidents for their outstanding service to the club over a number of years. Congratulations to them all.
The images below are Peter and Tommy receiving their badges for their honorary VPs. You can view the rest of the photos in our gallery, thanks to Billy Grace for providing them.
