Brock Bowling ClubWelcome to the Brock Bowling Club website.

Situated in the heart of Dumbarton the club is located on the north side of Crosslet Road and lies between two schools, Dumbarton Academy and St Patricks Primary. The original clubhouse was located between the bowling green and tennis courts, which have been closed for many years, the ground having been required by the local Education Authority. A new clubhouse was constructed on the opposite side of the green in 1966 and has been extended, first in 1978 and more recently in 1993. It now provides a games room, main hall, bowls, committee rooms and the services of excellent facilities.

Use the blog to find out what's been happening or updated on the website recently. Also, visit our gallery, for all the pics of recent (and not so recent) events.

We now have a working forum, there are boards on bowls, poker, darts and dominos, even crib!. Once you register we will keep you updated with the latest on the site and the club.

We also have an UNofficial site on Bebo. Be warned though, any opinions expressed are not neccesarily that of the bowling club or it's members! Click here for more info

Please sign our guest book and let others know what you think of our site. Thanks.

The Brock - Yoker friendly took place on Saturday (19/09/2009) at the Brock Bowling Club. It was a great day and a close match. The Brock won 2 of the 3 games (2 up and 6 up) with Yoker winning the other game by 10 shots, giving them the trophy.

This reporter has been told that a certain member knocked up a short bowl in the last end to give Yoker the victory. The members identity has not been mentioned except someone saying that he threw a 'slammin' bowl.
