Welcome to the Brock Bowling Club website.
William Denny Shield Winners 2009
Situated in the heart of Dumbarton the club is located on the north side of Crosslet Road and lies between two schools, Dumbarton Academy and St Patricks Primary. The original clubhouse was located between the bowling green and tennis courts, which have been closed for many years, the ground having been required by the local Education Authority. A new clubhouse was constructed on the opposite side of the green in 1966 and has been extended, first in 1978 and more recently in 1993. It now provides a games room, main hall, bowls, committee rooms and the services of excellent facilities.

We now have a working forum, there are boards on bowls, poker, darts and dominos, even crib!. Once you register we will keep you updated with the latest on the site and the club.

The weather played a big part in last nights game against V.O.L.B.C with 3 rinks in front till the monsoons came.
After the rain only the fours managed to hold onto to their lead with the Vale running out 6-2 winners. |

The annual Brock v Inchinnan frienly took place on Saturday. It was a close game with Inchinnan winning by 5 shots.

The Brock Bowling Club now has it's own page on Wikipedia. It's about time we were in an encyclopedia!
With the great weather we've been having, a lot of folks have been getting their ties played. It's good to see the club busy during the week, here's hoping the members continue to use the facilities even once the've been knocked out.
Looking forward to playing Inchinnan this weekend. It's one of the best friendlies on the calendar. If it's as wet inside as it's meant to be outside, then it should be another cracker. |

Mixed results in League Game 2, no winners at home to the Renton but two good wins away to Eastfield.
League game 3 takes place on Monday 15th June. Make sure you get your names up early. |
